stories. Our patients are our inspiration.
At my first visit, Dr. Moore went through my options and clearly described what each procedure involved as well as what the anticipated results would be. She treated me like a friend. I went in thinking I wanted one procedure, but after hearing the pros and cons of other procedures, I ended up going with gastric bypass surgery.
Dr. Moore and everyone on her team were amazing. My surgery went extremely well, and I was on my way the next day! Within 2 weeks, I no longer had high blood pressure. Within 6 months I RAN a MILE! Within 18 months I had lost almost 200 pounds. I was in a size 6/8. I got married and had my second child.
I’m 5 years out from my surgery and have never looked back. My only regret was that I didn’t have the surgery sooner. I feel like I wasted so much of my life before surgery. Now, I do everything I want to! I walk into a room and people are staring at me because I look pretty, not because I’m the heaviest person in the building. I would not be where I am today without Dr. Moore. Not only is she a fantastic surgeon, but is very in tune with the emotional aspects surrounding this lifestyle change.
She changed my life, and I am forever grateful.
