Chicken Detox Soup


1 Pound Chicken Breast
1 Quart Chicken Broth
½ Onion, Chopped
2 Cups Broccoli
1 ½ Cups Carrots, Chopped
1 Cup Celery, Chopped
2 TBS Parsley, Chopped
2 Garlic Cloves, Minced
1 ½ TBS Fresh Ginger, Grated
1 TBS Olive Oil
½ TBS Apple Cider Vinegar
¼ TSP Crushed Red Pepper
½ TSP Turmeric


  1. In a large pot over medium heat, saute olive oil, onion, celery, ginger and garlic for 5-6 minutes until softened. Add chicken, broth, carrots, apple cider vinegar, crushed red pepper and turmeric.
  2. Bring to a boil and then lower heat to simmer for 20 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside to cool.
  3. Add broccoli and parsley to the pot and simmer. Shred the chicken and add back into the pot. Cook until broccoli is tender.
  4. Serve warm and enjoy!
